Nick was the Junior A 2007 Rookie of the Year and 2006 Junior B MVP, and was also a member of the Orangeville Northmen, who won the Minto Cup Championship in 2008. Nick was drafted in the third round of the 2008 NLL draft by the Toronto Rock prior to signing with the Blazers.
